3. Custom Art & Commissions
CLYVIE MUSE specializes in personalized “Paint by Numbers” kits and custom digital portraits. Due to the bespoke nature of these products:
- Manual Artistry: Our artists begin the manual drafting process shortly after an order is placed.
- Cancellations: We only accept order cancellations within 6 hours of placement.
- Refunds: Personalized items are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or contain significant manufacturing defects.
4. International Shipping & Customs
Our artisanal products are dispatched from our fulfillment centers in China.
- Import VAT & Duties: For orders exceeding €150, the customer is the importer of record and is responsible for any local import VAT, customs duties, or handling fees incurred upon arrival in the destination country.
- IOSS Compliance: For orders under €150 within the EU, VAT is collected at checkout under the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme.
5. Intellectual Property

7. Intellectual Property & Artist Collaborations
7.1 Artist Ownership & Licensing: At CLYVIE MUSE, we honor the creative soul. For all “Artist Series” collections, the original Artist retains 100% of the copyright to their original work. CLYVIEMUSE LTD operates under a specific licensing agreement to exclusively develop, manufacture, and distribute these works in our signature DIY ritual format.
7.2 Artist’s Warranty of Originality: Each Artist collaborating with CLYVIE MUSE represents and warrants that their submitted artwork is an original creation and does not infringe upon the intellectual property, copyright, or proprietary rights of any third party.
7.3 Disclaimer & Indemnification (Plagiarism): CLYVIEMUSE LTD acts as a curator of artistic expression and disclaims all liability for copyright disputes arising from an Artist’s plagiarism or unauthorized use of third-party assets. In the event of a copyright infringement claim, the contributing Artist shall be solely responsible for all legal consequences. The Artist agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CLYVIEMUSE LTD against any and all claims, damages, losses, or legal fees arising from a breach of this warranty.
7.4 Limited Personal License: When you purchase an Artist Series kit, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to recreate the artwork for Personal Use Only. This purchase does not constitute a transfer of copyright or any commercial rights to the user.
7.5 Usage Restrictions: You are strictly prohibited from:
- Scanning or digitizing the artwork for mass production or commercial resale.
- Using the resulting painting for commercial branding, advertising, or for-profit ventures.
- Claiming the original design as your own intellectual property or reselling the finished artwork for commercial gain.
7.6 Fair Compensation: By participating in our Artist Series, you are directly supporting the creator. A pre-agreed royalty or licensing fee from every kit sold is paid to the original Artist, ensuring their vision is honored and sustained.
